celebrating chrissie..

I realize it was my first christmas here in Perth. My dad rang me up yesterday morning though i'm still in bed and he greeted me a ‘merry christmas’ *teary eyes*. I missed them soo much as well as my sister grace and kuya noel. Celebrating without them is like a pizza cut into pieces. *sniff*

Apparently, I enjoy the december 24 party with my grandma, aunt and cousins. Thanks for all their christmas presents to me. *hugs* And to all my aunt's, uncle's, cousins, classmates, ex-officemates and friends especially siomai (mai2x) and siopao (dianne).. this is my season's greetings to all of you! :-D

with all my LOVE * mwaah mwaah*

a week to remember

Well, i’ve been busy last week and let me say it has been a week to remember. umm.. *giggling* i’m not going to write it in details but let me test my memory. okay, recap?

monday
-we had our field placement presentation. Though I don’t feel better but I did a great job. Thanks for the ‘countdown timer’ which was added to my ppt, overall, one lecturer noted this ‘performance with distinction’ on my grading sheet. hurray! LOL.

tuesday
- me and joy went to school to comply some of the requirements needed for our apprentice, a copy of our passport instead of police clearance.

wednesday
- a stinking hot day but still, we went to the city for christmas shopping. actually, i’ve done my shopping a couple of weeks ago. Then, we went to Cinema One corner hay street and watched ‘Casino Royale’. It was my first time to watch there coz we usually go to carousel. Well, the place was nice considering the sushi bar is just beside the cinema. iluv sushi! Anyway, it was very entertaining film and worth watching.

thursday
- @8.30am we had a drive-thru breakfast at Mackers *australian slang for McDonald's*
- we pick up joy at her place.
- shopping part2 but this time at whitfords carousel.

friday
- food trip.. i cooked our favorite dish steamed prawns.

saturday
-we just stayed at beckenham with joel’s friend who just arrived from philippines. For the very first time he cooked his own specialty pork adobo. yum.. (pwede na rin!) hehe that was delicious.

sunday
-attend the mass.

Everything was fun and we had a really great time.** life is too short so we must live life to the fullest.**

********

A good friend of mine (you know who you are) gave this stuff to me an esprit shirt and a sunny. wheee! thanx sooo much you are so sweet.. mwaaahh!

Photoshop CS3 beta is now released!

Good news to all MAC users who have been waiting for Photoshop CS3 beta. Finally, it was released today. CS3 beta has a lot of new features including its interface design, non-destructive filters and one thing that I like is the new palette look that allows users to select very fine details.

Adobe has proven to be very stable in terms of performance and with this beta, it will run on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. Visit First Look: Adobe Photoshop CS3 for more info.

In addition, the free beta can be downloaded at Adobe Labs.

'brain-freeze' mode

its 5 past 10 but i can't sleep and i get bored! i don't know what to write i'm in a 'brain-freeze' mode now. heck! maybe because there is 'something' that worries me to death. so much questions in mind.. that don't have any absolute answers.. i used to rule my head over my heart but it seems that my 'self-assertiveness' deflate like a piece of mung bean seed. huh!

i just wish the best for me :-)..

WA begins daylight saving

I woke up early to attend the sunday mass with my grandma, aunt and cousins. We arrived in the church at exactly 9.30am so just on time but we were surprised when the mass is about to end. Damn! We don’t know the daylight saving starts today.

Yeah, today is the beginning of the three-year trial of daylight saving after a whirlwind of debates and votes through state parliament. As of 12midnight yesterday the whole Western Australians are being informed to set their clocks forward by an hour at 2am (WST). Actually, WA is the only state which is behind of three hours among the rest of the state in Australia. So that means, perth is now only two hours behind.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

my prayer:

  • may god bless our kababayan (people in Albay, Philippines) who were devastated by the successive passage of typhoon; may god bless them with food, clothing, medicines and all the things that they need.
  • i pray for unity and peace all over the world especially to my own country Philippines.
  • thank you god for protecting me and my family from danger and evil..
  • thank you god for everything...
